I am looking for a beer keg to brew in. Does anyone know where I could pick one up in the Bloomington area?

Tick no longer sells whole kegs.

Fraternity houses are known to have a keg or two laying around!

You might consider paying the deposit on a full keg and never returning the keg. Of course you would have to drink 15 gallons of beer to use the keg.

from looking at prices on ebay and the like it's best to throw a party, buy a commercial keg, and just don't return it!

I was able to get my hands on two kegs. I will be cutting the tops out of them this weekend. I will be taking a drill and putting a cutting wheel on it in order to cut it. I watched a video on You Tube that shows how to make a nice even cut. Can anyone give me a guess of how long it should take to cut one of these kegs, this way?

if you have a good angle grinder not long. If you build the whole wooden guide like the youtube video I saw, a couple minutes not counting the build time for the guide. I've cut tops off of 3 now, all free hand, and it doesn't take that long really. Just go easy at it. I found if you make a guide cut so you know where to follow it helps.
