Robert Burns Scottish Ale 5.0% ABV
Malty body with a not-so-subtle peat flavor. Peat malt not overpowering at all but it is up front. The finish is a hoppy sweetness. Nose is a balanced malt-sweet with a slight hop aroma.
Perhaps it is becoming a bias but I have found the Goose Island DRAFT beers..and I stress DRAFT AT THE BREWERY..have been and continue to be well crafted, consistently good beers.
