Reserve Imperial IPA 9% ABV

The only thing that can be said about this beer: hops, hops and more hops. I am not sure how that achieved the degree of hop aroma and floral flavor that this beer has. A rough estimate puts the distance that the nose is perceptible from this beer at around 5 inches. Your nose five inches from this beer will detect the strong floral hop aroma (tettenang I believe)

The hop flavor and bitterness is not overpowering and well balanced by the heavy maltiness.

The finish is sweet..very sweet.

Of the many "imperial" IPA's out there this beer is imperial in its over-the-top hop nose but is still well balanced enough to think about ordering another..later maybe.
