Howdy.
I'm new to the forum but have had some experience brewing beer. Well this year I'm going to be choked full of blackberries and though I'd try to mix up a batch of blackberry wine. Problem is that I don't have a wine press. I've heard a lot of good ideas, found some plans to make my own...even heard a guy mention that a new janitor's mop bucket with a squeezer works great as a press. I do have an electric juicer already. Before I try to build a wine press, does anyone have any advice. Will a juice produce the same kind of flavor in a wine ? What would you suggest?
